Undoing

the_time_traveler

You flip through the pages of yesterday
Through subconscious alleyways, stray
You arrive the gate
You demand a chance with fate
Then a key is given, with a word–‘change’
God watches,
His voice reminds, ‘change’
But for long, your wall bears no notches
Right then you walk away
Because you can’t tell a bliss from bane,
Or which choice might curse your way
Now you deem your quest profane
