What happens when ‘one’ gets broken?
There becomes two parts of one
You can’t say a half with a heart is even
Because a half can’t stand alone
And when two full hearts get fused?
They become two parts in one
You can’t say two hearts in one’d refute
Because when one, the ‘half’ is gone
And when ‘one’, once two, break?
There’s now either of two halves to take
Whatever the cause, the time, or the trend
We break up with lovers, but bread with friends
